About Samantha

Samantha Dolitsky has had a diverse professional background, initially starting as an executive assistant to an elementary principal in a private school located in the Upper West Side of New York City. Motivated by her experiences, Samantha made the decision to pursue a part-time education to earn a degree in School Counseling, aiming to provide even more support to the students.

Shortly after completing her degree, Samantha's school recognized the importance of having a dedicated School Counselor and Wellness Educator. They created this position specifically for Samantha, allowing her to continue her work in supporting students on a larger scale. In this role, Samantha noticed a significant connection between students' executive functioning skills and their academic as well as social lives.

Realizing the impact executive functioning skills had on her students, Samantha started working with them privately to further develop these skills. She particularly found joy in assisting middle school and high school students, as well as supporting her younger brother who had recently graduated from the University of Maryland. Her brother faced challenges with ADHD and executive functioning skills, which affected his job performance. He also expressed that similar issues were prevalent among his peers during his college years.

Unfortunately, Samantha's brother tragically passed away, leading her to reflect on his struggles throughout college. Specifically, she contemplated the difficulties he faced in balancing academics with the allure of a vibrant social life. Inspired by her brother's experiences and with a desire to honor his memory, Samantha is now determined to provide more support to college students who may be underserved in terms of developing their executive functioning skills.

Samantha aims to help college students create a foundation focused on executive functioning skills. Recognizing the importance of these skills in navigating the academic demands and social pressures of college life, she hopes to create a space where students can receive the support they need the most. By doing so, Samantha aspires to make a positive impact on the lives of college students and honor her brother's memory.
